Monthly Fees

I can’t post my monthly rates on the site for a few reasons…

The biggest reason being that not all business are the same…

For example, a band struggles to make any money at all – especially in this economy.  Most assignments for a band are a simple edit here and there and require very little effort or time.

A restaurant may need significant changes, but maybe only once per year, while the rest of the year may only need minimal updates.

A music venue is constantly changing and it is these employers that average over 200 assignments per month.

So how much would I charge you?

I need to know:
What kind of business you are in?
How many projects you expect to give me each month? **
and
What type of projects we are talking about (ie: Website, Print-work, Facebook/Social Media etc…)

Call me or e-mail me and I will send you a quote that is extremely fair.  I can promise you that finding a professional designer who can match or beat my pricing will be difficult.

There are two payment options for my services:

The Flat-Rate Plan
and
The Pricing Scale Plan

The benefit to a Flat-Rate is that your accounts payable can budget the same amount each month without any surprises in the event of a busy month.

The benefit to a  Pricing Scale Plan is that a less-busy month will not cost as much as a busy month.

** I just won a new employer’s business.  They thought they would be giving me 4 to 6 assignments per month.  I quoted them accordingly – only to find that  after the first month I had received over 100 assignments (or to be fair 34 projects in total).

The reason I am posting this example is because it is totally normal to not know how many assignments you will be assigning me… we will find out together!

The resolution to this issue was to offer a “Pricing Scale“.
Not knowing if the additional assignments were going to be “normal” or if it was simply a big fluctuation because their need for an art designer had finally been filled  – the Pricing Scale allows us to maintain the originally agreed upon price in the event that the 4 to 6 projects per month becomes a reality.

The Pricing Scale looks something like this:

0 – 6       projects per month = $xxx.xx
7 – 11     projects per month = $xxx.xx
12 – 16   projects per month = $xxx.xx
Over 16  projects per month = $xxx.xx
